Re: Modelling - can of worms - part ii MD method
I do use the meridian delay method, but I'll take Roland's word that
it does not depend on OTA orthogonality. I did try to think this

Try moving the dec with just the keypad connected using the N-S buttons.
If you get a runaway, give me a call at Astro-Physics 815-282-1513.

Rick,

few variables not discussed here (eyepiece mag, ccd image scale, etc).
In my experience both are terrific. Prior to

1200GTODec Axis Spinning in Circles!
Hello, all,
I tried running my new (used) 1200 / CP2 via TheSky6 this evening. I used a home-made
serial cable that I checked and double-checked for correct pinout*, opens, shorts, etc.

HI Roland,
Thank you for responding. I played with it again tonight and finally figured it out. It's the black threaded part on the Dec axis that the CW shaft screws in to. It feels tight, but

Hi Guys,
I can give you a little chronology on this "new" Bubble if the AIU
decides it is indeed a discovery.
I imaged it back on 06 July 2008 from the Mount Wilson Observatory
