3600 GTO
Well, as I was staring at the new mount on the AP website my wife came
in and was convinced I was looking at porn.
I'm on the list, there MUST be something I can sell around here......
Seriously

Really gorgeous mount, Marj,
I'm glad you released it before any of us has started our Christmas
shopping.
Next task ... to get approval from S.W.M.B.O. for that under the tree
surprise.

Good guess Jerry,
I see you must have been a fan of the "6 Million Dollar Man" TV series
where he cost 6 Megabucks, but his dog Maxamillion ... only a megabuck. But, I
see that you can be right

Re: OT: Comet 17 / P Holmes: Stokes Parameter polariztion difference image and Halpha
Very interesting to see that jet. Why do you suppose the jet
polarizes the light? And would that jet show up on a doppler Halpha
image, if one could be made?

Hi Bill,
I thought the AP 1200 was direct competition to the Paramount. The payload capacity for the AP1200 is 140 lbs and 150 lbs for the Paramount.

Re: 3600GTO - El Capitan unveiled at AIC
Well for those that are here at AIC and see the scope up close and personal, it makes the 1200 look like a toy.
The 3600 is MASSIVE.
well done.

Here's some pictures from Day 1 at AIC (sorry not much time to check them
very carefully). Adam Block did a great presentation on image processing

Re: 3600GTO - El Capitan unveiled at AIC
not only what Bill said, AP doesn't normally engage in the widely practiced policy of PRICE GOUGING like so many other vendors do.
That's part of the reason there's a waiting list....
