Interim Daylight Savings Settings (Remote Setup) - How To ??
Hi Members and Roland,
I want to know how to set up my system over the next week to deal
with the various DST issues.
I have an AP 1200 mount that is set to "Ext".
The keypad was used to turn DST "On"

I can see it now - a grossly deformed pier, with the AP1200GTO
pointing off by 30 degrees... More than likely it won't be a hammer
that I hit the pier with - it will be my head!!!

It would be great if some of the Astro vendors would put out a "white
paper" on pier design, with guidelines for weight bearing, stability,
and dampening, etc. They would not have to

I have seen the Plane Wave CDK20, and it is an awesome instrument. A lot of scope for the money for sure. Excellent optical design and execution and workmanship.

The new 1200GTO arrived on Friday, was setup on it's pier with no trouble on Saturday and

It was great to see both Marj and Roland at AIC this year. What a mount! I got on the notification list which already had quite few noteworthy names on it. It should carry a large astrograph in Oz
