Yes Marj, you are correct. In my case, I shortened my center bolt
enough so it did not protrude below the bottom.

I just discovered something cool
I am using the baader narrowband set on the ap180edt f/9 right now. first time to use them on anything but the pentax 6x7 lenses (150, 200, 300mm so far)

Just had a chance to review my gear.
The CGE tripod presents a top surface of 5.490" diameter x 0.94" high
above the leg top hinge surface. There is a tapped center hole for
the tripod

I used 3 ea. 5/16-18 tapped holes on a 4.00" Bolt Circle @ 120* in
the 900 pier adapter plate. Bolts/washers of suitable length
inserted from below to assure bolts do not protrude above plate

As the subject implies, I'm looking for a ~4-5 meter adapter cable
between the mount and USB computer port. I know I saw some traffic on
this (Possible future AP product?) but darned if I can find it

I fixed it, it was software after all. The sample size was wrong
because the check box to read it from the fits file was off. I am
not sure why maxim does not keep that checked when the user checks
