I haven't noticed such a problem due to the long polar bore. The full
field does exist but since the eye relief is poor, one must get very
close to see the entire field. Since I wear eyeglassses,

Life expectancy of AP mounts
I have an early (ish) AP900.
Is there any collective wisdom regarding the life of bearings etc. Can
one say that errors start to build up beyond X-number of years ? I am
aware that this will depend

Without a lot of fussing around, I routinely get 2 arcmin or less. And
I have the outdated reticle.
