Re: APPM Run vs Plate Solve and Recal
Just a thought...How long is your settle time during the model generation? If your settle time is too short you might be getting elongated stars that don't solve. The first solve and recal you

Re: APCC 1.9.0.1 and SGP Meridian Flip problem
Hi Ray,
I have the same error after upgrading to 1.9.0.1. Pier flip with SGP is working but I have both East and West limits unchecked to prevent counter weight up slews. With the previous version

Re: ISS Tracked using APCC Pro v1.9
That is a very good first try with poor seeing.
Looks like we will be getting some ISS pass movies from Astro-Physics scopes this year.
Thank you for your time and SkyTrack software.

Hi Ray,
I'm not completely certain but I did 2 tests back to back without changing anything, about an hour apart. Did not touch anything physically.
Run 1:
Model Dec spacing 1 degree - Ra spacing 5

Re: Fantastic PE correction: AP1100 and PEMPro
Outstanding result. Who needs encoders :). Kidding, I know encoders do more than eliminate PE.

Very cool Brent. Is SkyTrack updated to use the Mach2 yet? I am going to have to get my dual band Yagi out of the closet and mount it on the Mach2 and start talking on the AMSATS again.

Hi Rouz,
I am not convinced that was the cause.
A good PEC table will not affect the model. However, if the PEC table was corrupted or partially-written into the controller it might cause an offset

Re: Backup port won't "stick" as none, changes to COM3
Hi Linwood,
It's a little complicated because when TCP or UDP is selected the primary COM port is shown as the backup port. The intent was to make it easy to switch between the network and the COM

Re: APCC 1.9.0.1 and SGP Meridian Flip problem
As expected, the meridian flip failed at 2:20am because SGP requested a slew to flip the mount just past the crossing of the meridian and APCC left the mount CW up because it was still inside the West
