Re: Mount tracking on unpark
Howard,
the keypad is connected, but I pushed no buttons and it is set for EXT. Therefore I would expect that it would not send anything to the mount. Am I correct here?
Thanks, Larry

How is the mount being initialized? Is the keypad connected, perhaps?
If the keypad or another program has already unparked the mount, then

Mount tracking on unpark
I have been using ASCOM V2 driver V5.99.58 and have had the problem of the mount tracking after I connect to ASCOM V2 through ACP. I have unchecked 'Enable Mount Tracking on Unpark.' To keep the scope

I got the problem fixed Ray, I had a bad ap.ini file in the astro-physics all user folder. I changed the name of the file and started over from scratch and now it seems to be working

John,
Here's perhaps an even easier way to get to AP.INI:
In windows click:

Yes, a delayed response can happen on the bottom port. I've seen the Dec off occasionally by 1 arc-sec but I haven't
worried about it. It is likely, as you say, a round off error

It's not that I don't believe you but there have been no changes to the slewing scheme in the driver since March
