Re: Matching N-E-W-S buttons after a Meridian Flip
I think that if you're thousands of miles away from your mount, you probably shouldn't have they keypad plugged into the servo at all. My 900GTO/GTOCP2 mount is now mounted in my observatory, and I

Hello,
Does anyone know the dimensions of the power connector that plugs into the CP3 controller ? Is it
5.5mm x 2.5 mm ? I believe the 5.5 mm is the diameter of the plug itself and the 2.5 mm is

Re: Mach1 - Park at the wrong position
My first reaction is this: if the mount is permanently fixed on a pier, then why do you have the keypad set to Autostart NO? It shoudl be obvious that if you do not move the mount, you can always

Re: Mach1 - Park at the wrong position
Hello Rolando, thanks for the reply.
1. The mount is permanently fixed on a pier.
2. The keypad is set to autoconnect NO
3. When I had the problem, the serial port was not connected to the PC

Re: APCC
Thanks Ray. I understand that it is almost impossible to give a solid release date as it has to work as perfectly as it can be made prior to that.

Re: Update for new Right-Angle Polar Scope
I have a Mach1 and am on the wait list for the polar scope. Will I be able to continue to use through-the-mount cabling with the RAPS? I currently bring the cables out through the RA access hole.

Hi Randy,
We're busy working out the last technical details (web database/license key issues). It shouldn't be long now.

Re: 175 lottery update
Hi Roland,
With the right software apps for your phone/iPad you can already do this, provided there is an internet connection and a computer controlling the remote mount.

Pedro, with all due respect, Astro-Physics prices their instruments at what they perceive to be fair values, and at levels that allows them to stay in business and make a living. Your price setting

APCC
Last I heard (on this forum...not officially) was that the scheduled release date on the APCC was Oct 1st. I was wondering if there are any other updates and maybe even some price

It was my original goal to bring back the refractor as a viable instrument for amateur astronomy, at a time when people declared the refractor to be dead. That was back around 1982, about 30 years

NGC 7331 and Stephan's Quintet at Okie-Tex
I took NGC 7331 and Stephan's Quintet at Okie-Tex. I should have more time on this and I forgot my UV-IR cut filter on this shot so the stars are not what I would hope.
Full frame. You need to

Marj, I respect and admire both your work and your altruistic way of doing
business.
However the way to avoid the stir would be to sell the scopes at the right
price, that is 50% above what you are

Re: Upcoming conference schedule- see you there!
Is it? I've been to every PATS, never been to NEAF, so I can't compare. I didn't count the vendors, but this year's PATS looked to me to be about the same as last year's, but not as big as the first
