Daniel,
Thank you, glad you liked them.
Yes, that technique is a very good way of doing it, probably better than RGB as you said. I also tried many combinations like RB only to make synthetic green,

Thanks! That did it. I didn't see the RECAL + NEXT> documented anywhere! Which PDF is that in?

Rouz,
These are truly amazing images indeed. Now, as per your filter sequence, you write:
Over the time I have modified this classic sequence " Mine are as follows: RGB-BGR-RGB-BGR and so on. Why?

Keypad Recalibrate with CP5/Mach2
I have an updated keypad with my Mach2 but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get recalibrate to work. The only Keypad manual I can find is the one from version 4.19.3 and a LOT has changed

Re: High Res Planetary imaging with the AP1100
Its a modified SHO palette actually. Yes, Sii and Oiii was extremely dim!
Saw a picture of that OTA I think, very unique.
Looking forward to more images.

Nice. Little bit different palette.
That object was dimmer than I expected and i really didn't have time for more imaging time. But life goes on and I'm looking forward to doing some work with my 12"

That's very sharp Roland, nice work!
Sensor technology is also advancing at an amazing pace.
Saw your Elephant's trunk image too, funny I posted mine with very similar framing and color palette a few

Re: How Much RAPAS Misalignment is Too Much ?
Do your drift alignment once when the skies are hazy and not good for imaging. Then adjust the Rapas. Use it for subsequent nights and don't obsess over polar alignment.

This image of Saturn was taken a couple of years ago. I don't recall the particulars any more but I believe I used my QHY 5-IIC color Cmos camera. I don't keep very good notes

Thanks Roland.
It does not sound like I need to start messing around with the alignment screws on my RAPAS until I do a more rigorous drift alignment procedure.
