That can happen if the mount is not responding because it is disconnected or powered down with apcc and the driver still querying the mount.
The recommended shutdown procedure is:
1) Disconnect all

There’s not enough information to determine the problem. You should try updating to the latest driver version, v5.40.01.

Usually, you can install over the old version. The installer will tell you if you need to uninstall the existing APCC installation first from the Windows Control Panel.

It's unclear what's causing the issue. It may be a combination of hardware and a Windows update, for instance.

Last night at the end of the APCC Pro session (1.9.0.11) I was surprised with this error. The strange thing is that the mount, a Mach2, worked fine all night and the session frames look perfectly

I use SkySafari-6 Pro Android and it does NOT automatically change tracking rate depending on the object selected or after a GOTO to the Moon or Sun with my Celestron mounts.

Carbon based error strikes again.
Just to clarify. Going from NH to SH won't change the PE, but failing to click "Southern Hemisphere" and using Pempro will give an erroneous result

I would be open to that. As a reminder, I mentioned in a discussion before Christmas that I have reverted back to an older version of APCC and the problem persists. This version was not a problem
