Re: ASCOM Driver Connect Issue
The current released version of APCC throws that error with the CP4.
Ignore it and pretend it is a CP3.

ASCOM Driver Connect Issue
I am testing out the trial of APCC. On Startup of APCC, I get the message "Invalid response from mount. Firmware version V or lated is required for APCC”. Then the message goes away and APCC reports

The Meridian Delay Telescope Dance
I have an 1100 mount with APCC. I set the meridian delay so I can track CW up from E to W. When I slew, the mount moves E past the target, slews W until the scope is pointing S at the meridian, slews

AP1100GTO-park position to 3 when to position 1
I have had the AP1100GTO now for a over a year, basically with no issues on a permanent pier. lately I have had star trailing issues so I started to check first the mount balances, and location

Mars and Moon July 15, 2016
The skies were clear last night for a few hours after sunset. Images taken with the 10" F14.6 Mak-Cass and QHY-5-IIC color video camera.
I thought I would turn up the color saturation to max level

Check out today's APOD - July 15
Congratulations to Dave Jurasevich and our very own Howard Hedlund for today’s APOD of NGC 2736, the Pencil Nebula! This image was taken with our 12”f8 Maksutov-Cassegrain on our 1600GTO mount

Re: Flip does not return to same position
When you flip, the laser will go from the East side of the mount to the West side. The laser is now located 2 times the distance from the laser to the center of the Polar axis. It stands to reason

I have the AP1100GTO AE. I slewed to a position just E of the meridian at a 51 degree altitude and then introduced a 3 hr Meridian Delay and slewed to the same location (using The Sky X). The Delay

When I first launch APCC (v 1.0.3.4) with the mount(1100GTO)-CP4) on, at the bottom of the setup window Com 6 is yellow, Com11 (myonly virtual port) is dimmed yellow. I then get the error message

Hello Suresh,
That would be so awesome! I really envy you.
The second best thing I could experience was observing a perfectly clear sky from Mouna Kea (Hawaii), but only from the Visitor Center

Pawel,
Something which caught my eye is your creation for focusing a 200mm lens. Have you tried something similar for an SM90 with tuner when used with a long focal length refractor? I
