Re: Cp 4 controller queat2
Dear Don,
We usually try to provide an upgrade path for various features as much as we can. In the case of home and limits, we are about to release a new version of APCC that has an excellent home

Re: Mach1 vs Myt
The mach1 does not need a deep cycle marine battery. Any 12 volt battery will work, the amp hour rating depends on how long you wish to operate before recharging the battery. During sidereal tracking

I am really thankful for your help and I hope to be able to repay my debits.
I have uploaded a screen dump "from Mount".
You are probably correct in suggesting tnhat the calibration has not

Hi Vince,
The curve with PEM enabled looks like it was overcorrected which could happen if the image scale was wrong. To prevent this from happening you should always run the PEMPro's Calibration

Re: PEM not working
Hi Ray,
last night was clear so I was able to run Pempro with the PEM enabled.
The result is in the folder "vince" and the file is called "PEM enabled".
Thank you for you advise and support.

I've been watching the videos in your library and just wanted to say thank you for posting them. Although they move fast, they are very helpful. I just wished I could execute

Back in early March I queried Marj about whether an upgrade would be offered for the 900/1200 series mounts. She said no. Not surprising since to do so would negate one of the most powerful

I'vesuccessfully run my Mach1 off a 22 Ah JumpStarter battery. But when I dothat, I also slow down its maximum slew speed.

Re: Cp 4 controller queat2
That was what I was thinking. I wonder if it could even been something as simple as external magnetic switches that define the home position. Cheesy but maybe it would do the trick.

Just my opinion but the absolute encoder input combined with the digital
input for limit switches and such is a big deal. Not to mention the ARM
Cortex M3 processor. The CP4 has horsepower to burn
