Do I understand correctly: if I slew to an object using The SkyX, then center it using the hand controller, if I press "sync" in The SkyX the mount will now know exactly where it is? I read earlier

TheSky sends the exact co-ordinates to the mount. The mount memory retains those co-ordinates. Now when you move the mount to center the object and press Rcal, the mount will again place those exact

I use The SkyX Serious. In the Find tab, I use "Search for" and then I hit the Slew button to go to the object. The object is usually in the outer 1/3 of the Finderscope Field. The

If you go to an object via a GoTo command, the object co-ordinates are sent to the mount and they are in the mount memory. There is no reason to enter them manually again because they are already

Because all of our mounts have clutches, there are two ways to get to a star or other deep sky objects.
1) The first way is to simply send the mount electronically to the object via a slew command.

If you unpark A-P mount from a known park position (i.e. Park 4), it's an AUTOMATIC SYNC because CP4 knows Park 4 position assuming you correctly parked the mount. Next step is slew to a known star,
