Question about Mechanical Position on 1600GTO
This is a new installation, AP1600GTO w/absolute encoders.
After a few nights operation I began exploring more of APCC's features and noticed something a bit odd:

Re: Polar Axis Cover question
Bill,
If you are talking about the sight hole cover on the Dec axis it is:
1100GTO threaded hole: 1.460”-20 (threads per inch)

I can confidently say after trying to update over 50 times , the only time it updates is when you hear the beep noise at the beginning . Any laptop is fine and my assumption that a USB 2 socket works

Why would skyx be configured with a com port when if you intended on using the ascom driver? It sounds like you might be trying to use theskyx native driver instead of the ascom driver.

Polar Axis Cover question
Does the polar axis on the AP1100 use the same threads and size as the cap on the AP900? If not, does anyone know the measurements? I dont have anything to measure the thread pitch with.

Derek, constructive criticism here not not picking.
Chris, I do see how a first lock position cam is a safer way to know 'you're in the groove,' flip the cam to mid point then slide the scope into

It does look like an intriguing product but I don't see how it willhelp me get a C14 or an M16 on and off of my 1100 with any more ease and safetythan a regular dovetail bracket.

Re: Rayox Saddle
Looks great but what I don't like to all, is the miniscule adapter plate needed between the 1100 head and the Rayox. When I bolted an DOVELM2 to my Mach 1 or the DOVELM162, to my 1100 there is a

Re: APCC Initialize changes LST incorrectly
Tried the new version of the software and it works perfectly. I can now initialize the mount with a TZ of 13 hours. Thanks heaps Ray.

Rayox Saddle
Hello:
I have a very nice dovetail saddle that I reviewed on Cloudy Nights. It is pricey but very solid and I am going to use it with my 1100GTO and various scopes including a 152mm Super Planetary.

Michael,
This is the place to check for updates (I just posted the message a couple hours ago). It was a very minor change to the allowable time zone range.

APCC 1.5.0.20?
I started my imaging run tonight and happened to glance at it to check the automation was going OK and noticed the APCC banner (title bar) indicated that 1.5.0.20 is available.
Is there a standard
