Re: APCC, AP V2 ASCOM driver, SGP, AP1200 GTOCP3 (M-chip)
Geof
You might consider BYEOS.
+
Integrates well with PHD2 (guiding), with Astrotortilla (plate-solving), and with CdC, all are free and function well. Support for PHD2 and CdC is excellent, AT

Thanks Ray,
Wow, that is very affordable so I'll definitely check it out, however, from initial reading I don't see any reference to observatory control, which is something that I need that I know can

Re: mount parking during imaging - how to determine why
Eric,
I never saw a log file with a KA command. You said you had put up the wrong log file.
However, if you are going to put up the driver and APCC files:
1) Please use the APCC Log zipper utility

Ray,
I assume you looked at the log file and didn't see anything to cause the park command to be sent?

Geof,
If not spending a lot of money is your concern, then even cheaper than SGP
is APT:

Re: Check Out the Eclipse Forever Stamp!
Thanks Christine! I followed Fred's post from the press release and couldn't find any way to buy them online at the USPS. Now I have the inventory numbers and it should be a whole lot easier.

Good to know that SGP is smart enough to allow an exposure through the meridian to complete before issuing a slew command. I'm probably guilty of trying to work out too much in my

By any chance did you ask Andy about the questions I had regarding what happens when ansvr passes a scale and the scale is off quite a bit?
Eric, I never ask him but already know the answer.

Eric,
The scale is not the same as the telescope is pointing at.
The all-sky plate solve is intended to plate solve a mount that is pointing at unknown position or mount pointing at offset

Re: mount parking during imaging - how to determine why
I asked because if you double-click the park status in APCC's status bar (bottom of the window) it will toggle the Park state. Thus if unparked, it will park the mount at it's current position.

Also, if you’re familiar with Windows registry, a good cleanup should be necessary if there are too much COM port garbage.

How embarrassing. Instead of telling the editor to go down 200 lines below the park command, I told it to go to line 200 and truncate. Sorry about that.
I uploaded the correct file. BTW, the :KA#

Hi Eric and all,
Last week I was trying to do some test with ANSVR but all my plate solves
failed. I’ve found that the problem happened because I was imaging with
