Unguided imaging is more affected by factors other than the mount. The mount certainly can hold the scope and will not be bothered by the weight. You will need the larger diameter counterweight bar in

George already told me that he does not recommend it and that it would not hurt the mount. I'm still curious if anyone has actually tried it for short, unguided images.

C14 on Mach 1 for short, unguided images
I know this has been discussed before but I seem to be reading conflicting opinions on various sites. So, to be as specific as I can, would a C14" work on a Mach 1 for short, unguided images (e.g.,

I wonder regarding the weather problem I had, if I have to record a new pointing model before implementing the weather correction?

Since you are probably not using APCC (and thus no pointing model) Lat/Long can be approximates. The mount and software would only use Lat/Long for Alt/Az calculations and calculating local

Re: CP4 and ASCOM driver questions
Hi Joel,
The latest version of the driver, currently 5.20.07, should be able to save an arbitrary number of sites.
Not that I am aware of, but APCC can read input from most GPS devices.

Funny thing about that -- within an hour of posting I had a taker for my old 900 RA/Dec assemblies. I think they'll be going to a good use. :)
Thanks for the interest Wade, and

Temperature, pressure, and humidity values are used only for a refraction calculation in APCC Pro. That is, they are plugged into an equation to calculate refraction, which can change as temperature,
