Yes, thats one of the great things about AP mounts. You can shift the meridian by hours, and start with the scope down and CW up. This allows you to track right through the meridian without having

Hi Craig,
When slewing from counterweight up, the CP4 moves RA first to a counterweight down position, then RA/Dec. When slewing to counterweight up the CP4 moves in RA only as the last step.

Hi Ray,
thanks for that video. I have one question about the mount behavior if you set up as you mentioned and you are imaging started from a point more east than the limits with the telescope west.

Re: The right way to setup Meridian Limits to force counterweight up slews to the East (advance slews)
Well, if that's as close as you can come to thanking me for the improvements I have made to APCC you asked for, then you're welcome. :-)
If you only do GOTOs on the East side then I don't think so.

Hi Joel,
Make sure you are running the latest version of the driver on the other computer. Some older versions of the driver used the text file "ap.ini" instead of the newer SQLite database file.

Chad you need to zip up your logs and post them. The truth will come out easily that way. Stop using YouTube and start providing actual data.
