Re: Mach 1 Load Range
I would balance the mount with the gears released. Well balanced I think it should handle it. I use weights on the OTA for perfect balance.

Gert,
From your video, it doesn’t look like you have Meridian tracking limits enabled, nor counterweight up slews within West and East Limits.
You definitely will not get any

Re: The APCC punched com12 into the driver how do I undo that?
Gert,
The only thing I can think could be happening is the driver's setting file is locked or corrupted or otherwise not writeable.
With the driver not running, delete this file to fix that:

Hi Ray & Group,
I've tried understanding the docs on meridian setting and interpreting that the set meridian will also control the goal to slew (from anywhere) to a target with the mount ending up in

True. Once I've got the GoTo calibrated I can remove them.

Are you committed to the finders? As an imager, I dropped my finders some time ago. You might be able to drop a few pounds if it's close.

Re: APCC to slew to target with cw-up position
Hi Gert,
Any planetarium program would work, or you can enter Antares coordinates on APCC's "Goto/ReCal" tab.
If the planetarium program has an ASCOM interface, you can connect to the AP V2 ASCOM

Hi Gert,
Yes, you can set up the virtual ports without the mount, but I highly recommend you become familiar with APCC in the daylight, with APCC connected to the mount. There is no AP mount

Re: The APCC punched com12 into the driver how do I undo that?
Hi Ray,
This whole setup, can it be done on the laptop, only? If not maybe there is a need for some AP mount simulator? So people can do laptop-only testing without setting up the mount.
