Thank you Mr Cristen. For some reason I had it in my head that a shaped material like a lens or mirror that goes through a thermal change would do so unevenly until it once again reached equilibrium.

If that happened, you were not using a "Flip Offset". The "Meridian Limit" minus the "Flip Offset" is where APCC sets the Meridian delay (flip point). The flip point is what APCC sends to

I have had the same issue with my Mach 2 and SGP, the problem is that APCC reaches the meridian before SGP and according to what you have set APCC stops the mount and SGP aborts the session.

As Ray pointed out, the synergistic actions between SGP and APCC require at least APCC 1.9.4.3. Brian V.'s excellent video becomes moot if earlier versions are used as the inter-program

The best opportunity to resolve time conflicts between SGP and the mount is to upgrade to APCC Pro 1.9.4.3, and follow the suggestions in the AP video for SGP.

I am sorry I was not clear. The only thing you might want to contact the ASCOM team for is an issue with Alpaca. They are normally useless for troubleshooting mount and/or driver issues. :-)
