Over the last 25 years of owning nice optics, I have learned the hard lesson twice about storing anything in a state with high potential energy for gravity to take advantage of. Once during a 7.2

Store your refractor any which way you want. If you store with lens pointing down, make sure that nothing can fall onto the back of the objective from the eyepiece end.

telescope storage - vertical vs horizontal?
I am currently designing an observatory and will have limited space inside to store my telescopes. My architect prefers to design vertical storage to occupy less room, but my instincts were to think

Re: APCC error: FindFreeQacIndex: no free entries!
I am getting this message upon startup of APCC since updating to v1.9.4.3. It will not allow connection of APV2 driver. I have to restart APCC multiple times to get it to start normally. Not sure what

Re: AP Quad TCC with TEC and Stellarvue scopes
It's probably similar to what's required for the 160 F7 TEC refractor.
The 80.8 back focus is achieved with the matching spacer that is added to the back of the QTCC. In the case of the 160F7 TEC,

I have two AP 600 Goto mounts I use with a CP2 controller and modern keypad. I use them with my AP 155 F/7 and LZOS 130 F/9.2 and have experienced no problems at all.
