Thanks Roland. A power glitch might be possible as I have just switched to everything tied to a single power supply instead of having the mount on its own supply. It's a Powerwerx 30 amp supply

Tom,
You are not alone in stumbling over that issue in selecting "Astro-Physics mount" instead of "Ascom mount" with TheSkyX. One of many not-so-obvious quirks in astrophotography.

Thanks for the help, Ray and Roland. I have the clutches tightened as tight as I can get them with my fingers, but I will try to put an allen wrench on them and really torque them down, as I think

Hi Kalpesh,
There is no such code you should need to enter with APCC.
If you manually downloaded and installed any Eltima software product, you must uninstall it from your computer.

Without digging thru logs, no way to deduce anything. i doubt that the mount would stop on its own unless there was a power glitch or low battery.

I agree that the mount stopping could explain what I saw. The only commands being sent to the mount were from PHD2.

Re: Lost in space
If you move the 1100 manually with clutches loose, then you have lost the alignment. The encoders do not respond to clutch movements, neither do they respond to you setting the scopes at right angles

If the mount stopped tracking the stars will run across your chip at 15 arc sec per second. Maybe the mount didn't run away, just stopped tracking due to any number of external commands.
