When we had this problem, it was one of the handpaddle batteries. Call George at AP and he can send you the right part. If I remember correctly, it was the wired battery.

so this is a development. Darn. I am taking things down and just discovered that after balancing I did not tighten up the RA clutches tonight at all. arggh. not sure how i missed that one. I feel it
