Re: RA Mesh adjustment for 2104 model Mach 1 GTO
>Yeah that sounds like the method to use and likely would have worked last time had I calibrated correctly rather than using the calibration restore function.
Correct.
So were you able to gather data

Unexpected mount movement
I had a strange hiccup in one of my subs last night and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion of what may have happened. I was imaging the horse head nebula, and during one of the subs, it looks

hey, very cool! Glad to see some solar activity again. Haven't seen the sun in a long long time (in a scope of course).

aurora borealis over Clear Alaska
Taken with just a cell phone, but thought I’d share. I’m currently doing some work on the Long Range Discriminating Radar (LRDR) up on Clear Space Force Station in Alaska. The weather cooperated

Re: For APCC
That's fine. Not necessary to cycle power, but it doesn't hurt to do so.

Re: For APCC
Thanks Roland
I had to make sure I wasn’t going complicate things so I had turned the mount power switch off before it came back on. Mainly the power had come back on for ~15 minutes then went off

Re: For APCC
The mount automatically recovers after a power loss. It knows exactly where it is pointed the moment power is restored. There's no such thing as APCC and mount not being in sync.

Re: For APCC
Ok. I watched that presentation you gave on TAIC, The astrophotography imaging channel. So I assumed that had been an old directory you placed under that link.
Thanks for getting back to me.

Re: Lost power, APCC flashing’No response from mount’, how best to recover
Michael,
The mount will remember its position when power is lost. When power is restored you can reconnect to the mount in APCC, and APCC will reinitialize the mount. You can then park the mount,

Lost power, APCC flashing’No response from mount’, how best to recover
We lost power to my area for about 4 to 5 hours.
Mount is weights East, seems to have stop at horizon limit. APCC is flashing TCP button and telescope position is flashing ‘No Response From

Shailesh, please post how this goes for you! I just put in an order for a TEC 180 (9 mo wait) and have the mach2. I've had this discussion with Roland in the past and he suggested the 1100,

>>>If I look at this output from PHD2 Guiding Assistant, are you saying that my P-P Arc Seconds is the Declination, Peak of 0.73 px (1.44 arc sec)?
Yes, but p-p can be (and probably is) misleading.

The Monolith by Particle Wave Technology is another great option. What a shame they are no longer in production for about a decade or so.
