Re: semi-OT: deterring critters in the obsy
I live in S/E MIchigan 25 miles North of Detroit and while it is a good sized housing development with thousands of people, there are coyotes near us and some times they come into the neighborhoods.

2.9um pixels so I'm thinking either a IMX290 or IMX462 chip. I'll bet it's the latter for its NIR sensitivity when used with a CH4 filter.
Amazing images for sure and at not even half-way up in the

High Res Planetary imaging with the AP1100
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share a few images taken with the AP1100 and C14 at about 0.1 arcseconds/pixel.
The planets were tracked for several hours and lots of data was recorded with the best

I used PEM PRO to polar align my newer 1100 and older 900 mounts. I than insert the RAPAS and zero it to agree by placing Polaris on the correct location on the RAPAS dial (from the app) by adjusting

Hello George,
As Tom mentioned, we do extensive testing but cannot catch every user’s configuration or situation. In your case, if you find yourself running into problems with newly-released

Re: AP Version 2 error: Run-time error 91
You do NOT need to connect APCC to the driver. Ever. Its only purpose is to keep the ASCOM driver running even when all ASCOM client applications disconnect.
And just to be clear, this "error 91"

Mike,
Yes, use the push-pull screws to adjust the rear plate. You can always restore the plate to flush and do it again.
