Re: A Question Regarding an AP900 Mount
Liam, thx for the quick reply.
I am using the CP2 as my mount is from the early 2000's.
I'm connected from the ASI Pro via a USB to serial cable.
You don't think it could be the CP2 to dec axis cable?

Re: A Question Regarding an AP900 Mount
Chris,
What CPx are you using to drive the motors? A CP3 or a CP4?
If the keypad has no issue moving the dec axis, then the motors and the mount are fine. I suspect a software issue or cable

Hi Greg,
I hear two different questions.
1) What is the max permissible input voltage to the CP5?
2) Can I use a 24V battery charger.
For question 1, no one likes to hear, "it depends". So, the

If the create button is there, click it. It should create a virtual port. Then use the APCC button to configure the V2 driver, then connect it. Does it work now?

Re: APCC / APPM Frustration
Hi Marty,
You are probably overcomplicating things. There is an option to auto-configure the driver in APCC. There is also a button in APCC to do a one-time configuration of the ASCOM driver.
