Re: Mach2 - Elongated stars
I did notice a huge difference in using the clutches to balance versus my Mach 1 I had. On my Mach 1 the DEC axis was always really hard to feel out in terms of balance. The Mach 2 is very much like

Yanzhe,
Hmmm... that is not the default. Did you happen to use this computer with another A-P mount in the past?

hello Yanzhe,
I have done some more digging and testing with regard to your guiding results. You had said that your Dec axis is not balanced. Unbalance puts strain on the worm teeth which increases

Awesome. I always love new updates and things to play with. The battery was really low. I think it's output was 11v when I pulled the power and threw it on the 10A Bioenno charger.

I have looked at the battery performance of the Mach2 and I believe we have a software fix for it. Stay tuned and we will have some new software for you to load so that you can run off a low charge

The guided performance was great for long extended periods. Seeing last night was maybe 2/5. Not all that great. I did some wide field m106 without the guider running and the frames were excellent. In

Hi Bill,
You said you were joking about the AP1100, I certainly hope so :)

So like a buffoon I didn't have full charge on my battery but I let it run it's course as much as it could. Thankfully it made it through the imaging for the evening with no problems.

Hi Bill - Impressive stats on Mach 2. You are concerned about your 1100, what is its performance like with a similar setup?

When the quality of your focus frames (admittedly on a very large 16803 chip) are the exact same, at 5 mins as they are at 5 seconds.... you know you have something great on your hands.

Dude there is something wrong with your config. I literally cannot get the mount to NOT produce perfect stars. Call me if you are up and need a hand. :)

Re: Mach 2 First Impressions (Quick Post)
I clearly need to send my 1100 in for repair or something. This Mach 2 is killing it. Keep in mind, my 1100 has AE as well, and the Mach 2 is shredding it like lettuce.

Model running now and imaging unguided and frames are just as good as the guided ones. No change, because there really isnt anything to correct reactively. The 16803 chip is at home on this GTX with
