The clutch on the Mach1 is a brass plate and should have grease on it. The clutch locking system uses hard anodized pressure plates against a hard anodized hub. These should be lubricated also. It

Arun,
Check for imbalance. Rev Q is very old and does not have integral gain to overcome a tiny positional error due to heavy imbalance. Park 3 might work because the weight is

Re: Payload AP1200GTO
Peter, there is something you can do about that infestation working its way up the pier, but it requires professional help. 😁

Re: Mach 1 not parking at Alt Az position
Questions:
1. Does the driver say Parked or Unparked when you see these tiny movements?
2. If you manually slew the mount using the driver's buttons, then park it using the driver's Park (to Az/El)

Arun,
Alt/Az position may appear to change slightly because it gets calculated from these polled values from the mount: RA, Dec, and Local Sidereal Time.
Although Dec is constant when parked, RA

Re: Payload AP1200GTO
This works for me. An additional camera and EFW are on the refractor, total weight at least 75 lbs.

Re: Mach1 Park 3 curiosity
Curious. A time zone spans a distance in longitude. If I place identical cell phones, Ipads, GPS modules or what ever, at both sides of the time zone, will they read the same time or will they roll

Re: 1100 mount production
Hi Rolando / Marj / Karen,
I was wondering if there are any updates for the 1100 production run? Been about a month :)
Thanks,

Re: Remote power on/off via USB relay Arduino CH340. Maybe add it to APCC?
There is an ASCOM driver for the Digital Loggers web power switches.
The Digital Loggers devices are great and very economical. I have installed them in many observatories.
Check them out.

Re: Remote power on/off via USB relay Arduino CH340. Maybe add it to APCC?
Isn't that exactly what I said I was doing? Only it is 24v DC which is the supplied power supply.

Re: Dec limit in Mach2
Ray and Bill,
I don’t use custom limits in the AE tab. I do use horizon and meridian limits.
Here is where things got strange tonight. After I reproduced the error as I explained in my previous
