Re: Mounting requirements for a Stellarvue SVR90T
Thanks for the info Howard.
As I do have a 10" SCT and shortly a large refractor, I shall stick with the DOVELM162.

If I can't find a CP3 I guess I will end up cannibalizing the CP4 off of my Mach1 or 1100. I really don't want to do that because I'll probably end up off-line myself for months and months before they

Send the broken one in and we'll see what's what with it. Maybe easily fixable.

Looking for one or two CP3's
One of the smaller UofH observatories I shepherd over here in Hawaii is using a 1200 and the existing CP3 has died. The budget for this particular research project is currently frozen so they can't

Ray,
The new keypad version 5 is not available for the GTOCP4 yet, but will be soon. The instructions for the flip are in keypad manual. This manual must be updated for use with the CP4 since there

Re: Mounting requirements for a Stellarvue SVR90T
George hangs out here, but I may be able to help as well.
The DOVELM162 16" Easy Balance Saddle is probably overkill for you unless you also have a big scope that you will be using. The DOVEDV10

Re: Mach 1 not parking at Alt Az position
Hello Arun,
Are you using the AP V2 ASCOM driver, or APCC or something else? Do you know what firmware version is in your GTOCP3? Both APCC and the driver will tell you the version.

:) Isn't it, though?
It's really nice to know that next year I can add to the data I already have in an attempt to better the results.
Gotta love digital.

Thank you, sir. Another member here has a goal with his photos, and I believe it's a good one.
Process the data to look how you'd imagine the object to appear from your passing star ship.
