Hello Astronuts,
Had a couple of clear nights with reasonable seeing and decided to shoot a couple of objects that are well placed right now. First one is M33, which resembles sugar sprinkles tossed

Update, of sorts. We know they are working on it, but have no commitment regarding release. We’ll let you know when we have more news and hope to be testing a version soon. Stay tuned.

Re: Connecting to GTOCP5 via WIFI
Hello Rick,
When I click “connect” (your step 3), I get a dialog box that says enter network security key. That’s where I get stuck.

Re: Virtual Port change in #APPC pro

Hi Todd,
APCC allocates virtual ports at runtime, not at system boot. Devices like a USB to Serial converters usually allocate their virtual COM port at system startup, well before APCC runs. APCC

Re: Connecting to GTOCP5 via WIFI
I hate to say it, but this is all "as clear as mud."
What do you mean when you say, "When you connect the GTOCP5 to a network"? Does that mean when I plug the CP5 into a power supply, with no ethernet

Re: 130 EDF Starfire Field Flatteners
I have a 67PF562 field flattener on my 130 EDF Starfire. I just read that this field flattener isn't ideal for this scope.
I would definitely be interested in one that was optimized for this scope.

David,
The GTOCP5 wifi password is a factory default that is specific to your unit. See the following, page 17:

Re: Connecting to GTOCP5 via WIFI
The password in the welcome letter is only to access the download website to access the new version of GTOCP4, GTOCP5 and keypad when they are released. It is not used for connection to your GTOCP5.
