I got it to work, but...
I had firmware 11. Last night, it gave a big message, front and center, about outdated firmware, and that it was shutting down in 30 Sec. (or some such).

Hi Shane,
Below link (from AP) also includes a metric converter as well as "dimensions that do not change with latitude" (front facing) which you might find interesting, mostly if you are looking to

Hi George,
What do you mean that APCC drops you?
Also, which mount and firmware version(s) are giving you trouble?
BTW, the firmware message in APCC is just a warning. Even though earlier versions

Hi George,
the Firmware update is a separate program. You need Java for that and it works best with the LAN connection.

APCC Pro / GOTO CP$ firmware upgrade

I upgraded APCC Pro, since it was telling me to.
I did not upgrade the firmware in the CP4, since this can be tricky business and I avoid unless necessary.
Now I cannot connect to the mount because

Re: Mach2 Dimensions
Thanks Marj! That had everything (I think) that I needed. Looks like I would need to mount the Mach2 about 2 inches higher than the AP1200...

Hello Shane,
The current link is now .info, rather than .com. The Mach2 dimensions have not been added to this calculation yet, but are similar to the Mach1.

An AP 900 is an excellent mount. I use it for my original version AP 10” Maksutov. Love it!

Hi Dean,
as I have heard, it is necessary to renew it if the pressure and temperature has changed. But it didn’t take long to build a new short model in the declination you want to take

This discussion about temperature and pressure monitoring has me wondering if the forthcoming keypad tracking routine will also require temperature and pressure inputs.

Thanks Robert,
Right now I have a 5" refractor. I will be getting something in the c11 size at some point (10" iDK preferably). With my AP900 and portable pier now the mounting plate is face height

Supporting a Mach2GTO
#Mach2GTO
Hi all,
In what turns out to be a shock, I was told that I am receiving a Mach2 before the end of the year from a vendor. I am also on the list for an 1100GTO and expected to hear from AP about that

As mentioned in the APCC help file, the THUM is supported, and devices that have an ASCOM ObservingConditions driver are supported. If the Pegasus has an ObservingConditions ASCOM driver, then
