I don't think you need to do full sky modeling. Model on the area you wish to image from the POD, and run with that. Seems simpler.

If your dome is automated then no problem.
If it is manual then you have to move the done around.

Mach 2 modeling with partial sky view
#Mach2GTO
Hi,
How does the modeling work with a partial sky view? For example, with a SkyShed pod, you have the half clamshell cutting off a large portion of sky. How does this work?

Hi Marj,
Great, I got used to doing without it, but the fact that it will soon be near my mach2 to also test the specific keypad follow routines. And I can start translating the manual into French.

Re: Drift Alignment To Help With Unguided Images
I have had success with the Edge 11HD on both a CGEM (pushing it) and now an AP900. With the OTA's mirror locked and the Moonlite focuser you should be able to get good results.

The PDF file’s resolution is much better and the words are easy to read.
Thanks for uploading it.

Ray, I attempted to send you a PM about the zipped files which I uploaded to "Curtis in Anza" in the Files section. But since anybody can look at it, I don't suppose there's much need for secrecy.
