Re: M20 First light with ZWO ASI2600
Great first light Robert!
I’ve had one of these for a couple of months now. I use coupled to my new Stowaway working at 490mm FL. It covers a very nice area of the sky. I’m only limited by light

I’m really enjoying my QHY268C. Using it with Starizona filter drawer and IDAS NB1 for narrowband imaging.

Nice job Robert. It looks like QHY will be making a camera with a mono version of this detector later this year. I am looking forward to having a camera with one of these 6th Gen. Sony back

M20 First light with ZWO ASI2600
This is my first light with my new ZWO ASI2600. This is the new ZWO 16 bit OSC APS-C size sensor camera. I really like the camera. I think I will keep it.

Re: ASCOM 6.5 released, upgrade or not?
Ray,
The ZWO native driver requires ASCOM 6.5 since a few months ago. I have been running it with APCC Pro with no issues. However, I think some users had problems with APPM and ASCOM 6.5. It would

Hi Mike, slightly off topic, but in regard to your wise suggestion about doing a Restore Point.
Have you personally had success with “Restore Point Recovery” under e.g. Win-10 (PRO) ? I

Re: ASCOM 6.5 released, upgrade or not?
Did you create a Restore Point before installing? If so, just roll-back to that point. Otherwise, maybe you can uninttall, then install the pre-6.5 version.

"Do not update" is the update. I may not have time to look into this until next week, if even then.
Is there something in 6.5 that you need?

Re: Crescent Nebula
Thanks Karen - I suspect there are a good number of objects that could use a renaming now that we've seen them with much better hardware than the original namers.
