All that is already in APCC. The mount can be programmed to do all of the above.

Re: AP 1200 won't unpark via APCC
Dan,
It sounds like you may have a network problem. So, did you try the alternative I suggested? That is connecting APCC via its USB or serial port? If that works, or doesn't work, helps isolate the

1600 gear train adjust?
Greased the gear train and worm on the 1600. After allwas done, the RA gear train seems a bit less smooth than the one for the decaxis (gear boxes on bench). I won't say that it is binding but

I have the router in the house. I direct the router output to a switch and from the switch I have two direct bury CAT 6 cables installed in 1 1/2" PCV conduit running 225' to my observatory

Re: CP4 Firmware Upgrade Failure
Ray,
Yes a typo. I did try 169.254.0.109.
So I am still at a loss as to why I could not upgrade the CP4 firmware. I am still at the original version that shipped with the unit.

Re: CP4 Firmware Upgrade Failure
Hi Jack,
Maybe that's just a typo but I think the IP address should start with 169, not 168.

Re: AP 1200 won't unpark via APCC
Dan,
One more thought...
if there is a router on your LAN with an internet connection, what is the subnet of the LAN you are using? (eg. 192.168.1.0)
If the CP4 is setup to accept a DHCP address

I don't think anything is wrong with your CP4. This is probably a matter of how you have your network set up. Astro-physics includes some directions for LAN setup with the GTOCP4 but you should

Thanks for the video. I was unaware of the Find feature in the Connection box which is very nice.

I meant I do NOT get a face on view of the control box.
If I am seeing the yellow light on the ethernet port and I am mistaking it for the amber light on the CP4, I, sorry for the mix up.
