Re: Mach1GTO case recommendations?
Hi Derek
I have a Pelican case which is waterproof and very sturdy for travel. I know there are other brands similar to pelican that are cheaper but mine works very well for my Mach 1.

Mach1GTO case recommendations?
Dear AP mount owners,
I have a Mach1 from the final production run and it’s been a pleasure to use in my backyard.
When transporting it in my sedan I’ve resorted to the original AP shipment

Re: Tracking problem with Mach 1
I had a lengthy session with George yesterday. PHD2 now is working. I still am having tracking problems with short exposures, which I did not have previously. It is possible my concrete pier shifted

Re: Problems to update CP4 firmware
If you are connecting the CP4 directly to your PC you probably need a cross-over version of the ethernet cable. If you have a router, plug the CP4 into that.

I was trying to point out that below the top window the lower one is showing COM Errors. That could be that it took a while to connect before acknowledgment and simply hasn’t been cleared or maybe

If there are Com errors then there may be no connection to the mount, and therefore the mount might not even be initialized.

Interestingly there seems to be COM errors. What’s that about?

Re: Tracking problem with Mach 1
Just look at the motor shaft. If it's not turning then it's not tracking. No reason to wait until tonight.
Do you have a keypad (hand controller)?

The final spur gear on the worm will turn once every 6.4 minutes. The motor shaft turns once in just under 8 seconds.
