Make sure that the driver has the correct Longitude; I seem to recall having a similar problem when moving my AP900 to a new location and the longitude kept reverting to East instead

Try sending it to Park 3 and see where it goes. Maybe you have misremembered Park 4...

Dumb(?) question re start-up of my AP900GTO CP4
All - my AP900GTO CP4 has been idle for over a year and with power OFF. I am putting it back into operation and am having a weird time getting the scope to find targets (like at all).

Correct, Home = Park 3. And yes, none of the position values or time changed after the re-installation but for some reason the issue is gone at least for now.

I'm glad the problem is solved but I don't think that re-installing the driver had anything to do with that. The driver has fixed Hour angle/Declination positions for the park positions

There is no # after the $$$. SkySafari from my android phone sends $$$:V# when I connect to an Astro-Physics mount.

Another thought. Have you âmessed withâ any of the DIP switches on the RN-270/SkyBT device? The default switch positions work. You donât need to switch any of them. All 4 DIP

Although I havenât used this combination in a long time, in the past I have successfully used SkySafari to control my Mach1 with CP3. And I used it with a RN-270 Serial to Bluetooth

You should be able to get polar alignment good enough and keep it so with a solid tripod. Once aligned, I have not seen a tripod change the polar alignment.
