Mach2 RS-232 Ports
We have been told in the past that the upper RS-232 port is the preferred one to use. Is this still true for the Mach2?

Thanks for the response. I will correct the scale setting. I did uncheck Dark frame subtraction. I will let you the next time I can make a test.

Did you not say you have a C11? If so I think one of your problems is your unbinned image scale for plate solving which your screen captures shows both as 1 whereas with the ASI294MC/C11

1. The "appm camera settings.jpg" image does not actually show the Camera Settings tab. In particular, have you tried turning off dark subtraction?
2. The image scale on the Plate Solve tab

Peter at this point it’s a user’s error issue as it’s well established that the software works. But again, it would help immensely if you quoted the emails you’re replying to.

Is AP investigating this issue? I have had occasional drops with my iPad and SkySafari won’t reconnect unless I reboot the CP4. The iPad is still connected to the CP4 WiFi, but when I disconnect

I have the old Asus Nexus 7, I'll have to give it a try. I have been using the AP keypad but the database is somewhat limited and so I would like to get Sky Safari working too.
