Re: Advance Meridian Slew Problems
I've yet to set this - watching your videos helped me see how do do it. I've been drawing in my best guess.
So it appears your scope doesn't avoid the restricted areas?

New Mach1GTO worm gear mesh
Greetings,
I am chasing some star trailing in RA direction on high Dec targets (M51, specifically). I am going down the list of possible culprits (field rotation, flexure, etc) but so far everything

Hi Joel,
You can copy C:\ProgramData\Astro-Physics\settings.apdb to the same folder on your other computer. This will copy all of the settings.

Thanks Geof. I guess I have some other problem that caused the bad guiding after the flip. I'll need to debug next time I'm out. Overcast skies and snow are forecast through Tuesday. Hopefully

Bill
If you run everything through ASCOM, then PHD2 should know when the flip occurs and should automatically adjust the calibration parameters.

First Light for a Mach-1 GTO
I finally got out last night to try out my Mach-1 GTO. I had a few issues that perhaps this group can help with.
1. I started with the OTA pointed north (I believe this is called "Park 3").
