Why not call the office and ask for tech help. They can run you thru some simple tests.

Motors Stall after track into pier
Somehow my AP1100 continued to track after I thought it parked. :-(( I loosened it manually but the motors are still in a stall state N-S moves about 15 degrees back and forth and E-W just clicks.

Neither the CP servo nor the handpad or other software sends commands to move after power cycling.
I suspect that you lost connection to the RA motor encoder. That would explain the runaway even

Linton,
At this time SkySafari 6 on the iPhone is able to initialize the mount from a Park 4 position. It may be expanded in the future.

Mirror flop, cable drag, camera adapter possibly loose. If it's occurring in RA intermittently it is usually cable drag.

Re: Tracking too fast with GTO 1600 Mount
You most likely have an autoguider connection sending a bogus command to the autoguider input to the mount. Some autoguider cameras will send a 2x move signal to the mount when they are powered off.

Small Jump or Hop in image during tracking on Mach 1 GTO
I've been noticing lately a slight hop or jump in an image when tracking and it happens usually after the 6th to 7th, 30 sec exposure (note: these are unguided, short exposures). This varies
