Re: Guiding AP mounts with PHD
Great info. A few questions:
- You mention that you set the MinMo to 0.8 arc-secs. I believe MinMo in the PHD interface is shown in pixels. So if you set the MinMo to 0.8 it would have been 0.8

It's not just yahoo groups. At work I am forced to use Yahoo servers for our business email. I can't tell you the number of times I have been frustrated with the experience.

Re: Is Yahoo Groups moderating every messages?
While I am not a fan of Yahoo Groups, I have had no issues recently. Unless there are many people seeing a slowdown, it is not necessarily all Yahoo.

While the groups.io interface is better, it still relies on email groups which truly are a thing of the past. It would be best to move on. The best scenario at this point would be to move to

Dale,
My only suggestion is to use “stranded core” shielded, and twisted pair, cable. Solid core wire, unless used for internet cabling inwalls, can break from flexure. Probably worth

I double checked the links and the last two I linked use FTDI chips but the first one does not. Thanks George for pointing this out. I searched for "FTDI USB to Serial" in Amazon and the first link

I believe Optec can customize the cable length you desire. Contact them.

Re: Custom serial cables (was: Last Step after replacing L chip to V chip)
That's the way to do it.
I would suggest to any enterprising individual to cur their own serial (and ethernet) cables if they desire custom lengths. Pre-assembled DB9 (male or female) to 8P8C (RJ45)
