An ASCOM driver for Wunderground would be interesting; indeed it has the APIs necessary to work with. I can see a few use-cases for it, especially as fall-back if an observatory's own weather station

Goes without saying ... be sure to use eye protection (goggles), whenthe toothbrush spritzes solvent all over the place. Otherwise your “seeing” willbe ruined.

As Roland said, use mineral spirits to clean off the old grease. An old toothbrush can also be very handy. Use lots of paper towels and/or old rags, but be sure you don't leave threads or fibers.
