Re: Two panhead bolts on gearboxes for A-P1100GTO?
Thanks George. Are these screws down there something customers should never touch? Are they for adjusting the internal components of the gearbox?

Peter,
They simply prevent dust from entering the gearbox while allowing access to the screws within.

Re: Focusing no longer works with FocusMax 4.1.0.28
Hi Ray,
I contacted FocusMax's author and there's a bug in the latest release for relative focusers. He's sending me a beta fix to try.
Thanks Bruce

I talked to a guy from the company and was told AP adapters are forthcoming; perhaps by the end of June. Says it will mount in the large threaded hole on the front of the dec.

I meant 5/16"-24 panhead placeholder screws (not 3/8"). Sorry about the confusion.

Two panhead bolts on gearboxes for A-P1100GTO?
I own a wonderful A-P1100GTO mount and I have been pretty successful imaging with this mount. I have a question. What are these two 3/8"-24 panhead bolts used for on both RA and Dec axes gearboxes?

Focusing no longer works with FocusMax 4.1.0.28
I've updated FocusMax to the latest version and focusing no longer works.
It's returning this error in the log.

From reading some web articles, the down side is that“average “ quality SSD’s (perhaps older ones),

I do NOT assume that only Microsoft causes Registryissues – just that they should be causing the least number of them, since theyhave had decades of practice improving their Windows

Surely it says 1x not 1 sec so it is the same as setting it to sidereal?

PEM...
According to the AP1200 manual, you should set the guiding rate at 1 sec and not Sidereal rate when doing a PEM run. Why is that? Wouldn't that cause more unnecessary corrections?
Thanks,
Bob
