Re: Strange big misalignment in SkyX
Carmine, do you have the hand controller attached? Did you use it during this process? Another thing that happened to me with TSX and my AP900 CP2 was the timezone offset got reversed. It went from -5

Re: Questio regarding CP-4
The limit/home switch inputs for the GTOCP4 will be available initially for 3600 mounts with this option. They will need a new cable.
We plan to make this option available for 1100 and 1600 mounts

Re: CP4 - Focuser Control Depricated?
Dear Gene,
I’m sorry that the focuser and reticle jacks are both gone. Modern focusers now are all driven by their own software and we needed to free up some real estate on the CP4. I apologize

Re: Keypad version 4.19.2
David,
Getthe genuine article -- FTDI USR232-10 from Mouser Electronics or DigiKey forsomething like $24. This is the smooth white one with blue L.E.D. lightsand a 10cm USB cable. Can't go wrong.

I have been using two of these for several years and am very pleased. One is for the mount and the other is for my Takometer.

I would trust Startech.
However I used my “single” cable DB serial/USB adapter by “Sabrent”,and I made sure I chose the FTDI implementation of it (bought at Tiger Direct ).I

Thanks very much to all who replied. I will install the v. 4.19.2 update later. Still need a recommendation for an FTDI USB-to-Serial adapter...
Thanks again!

Larry,
Calculations based on “0” are problematic, so we choose a tiny offset.

Re: FTDI cables
I've noticed that everything I looked at by Sabrent received glowing revues. Their USB Hubs have thousands of positive comments.
