Thanks Joe, yes, I knew that, no worries, it's just the way I type/think, that's all. Whenever considering FTDI you must ensure you have the one with the FTDI chip, that's quite right. JUST the FTDI

AP160/Mach 1?
So sort of curious how well an AP 160 does on a Mach 1...Iknow not an "ideal" situation but workable? I think the OTA is 27#,the mount's capacity is 45#...looking at the portability factor primarily.

it's probably obvious but - most versions of Windows have built in drivers for USB-serial which work out of the box with USB adapters, but they do not support the FTDI feature of remembering the com
