Where were you going to BUY APCC? It's not out yet? Unless beta testers are getting first dibs on the release? Is there a price for the pro version?

The whole project was done in less than one day, start to finish. Of course, I did have an expert doing the actual work. I was just the helper.

The RigRunner setup shown in my link(http://www.astrobin.com/95156/) was built from parts ordered on the Internet. I was helped by a friend who had developed his own setup and knew what to purchase.

Well, the driver is written in VB6, not C++, and the error says it is a C++ run-time error, so it must be something the driver is calling. The error doesn’t give many clues so I’m not sure what to

What I mean is that I can’t go into a store and say “One Rig Runner” please the way I can buy an OTA or a crayford focuser, correct?
There are probably plans for this somewhere on the internet

Not sure what you mean..
Those are all commercial parts purchased directly from the manufacture.. You have to link everything together yourself of course!

From what I could see, this is not a commercial product but rather something built out of parts yourself.
Sorry if that’s obvious!

Dave,
Thanks for the information. A very serious installation indeed. I suspect that there is not a humble little Mach 1 GTO hiding under all of those electronic components! <grin>

Re: Outfitting a Mach 1 GTO
I think that’s always the better choice as it will also allow you to image closer to directly overhead and avoids cable snags.
