I'll second Charles. To be precise, the 1200 is more than double the
weight of the 900. 80 lbs is a weight to be truly reckoned with if you
have to transport the mount long distances to dark

Mark,
Tenba makes some very nice cases for the transport of computer monitors.
These might work for parts of the 1200. I know that one will hold the 900
mount as one piece quite nicely. We used it

No. I'm still looking for cases to hold my 900. I've
given up on finding a case to hold the 900 in one piece.
Any suggestions would be much apprecitated.

Have any of you folks who have a 1200 mount found suitable cases for

Re: Should I select 900GTO or 1200GTO?
My 600 GTO would stall out at 1200x with a 20-pound load, even if it was
balanced. The mount came back with what sounds like heftier motors and a
slower top speed (600x instead of 1200x), and works

the same), and a new set of turnbuckles to use with my current tension rods.

Hi Dave,
I'll give AP a call to get the details on the tension rods.
Thanks, thought you interchange the piers since legs were the same.
