Re: Same PEC pre-train as Mach1 now/when in 900/1200?
Brad,
If it is already loaded, just make sure it is activated. If not, just
enable PLAY as you mention via the keypad. Leave PEMPro out of the
loop at this point.
Anthony.

Re: keypad pointing models. Was: Re: Paramount ME vs. AP 1200GTO
Thanks, Ray and Norm.
I was mostly just curious. I'm purely visual, and the GoTos (even with
2' - 3' of mirror flop) are generally good enough without any model.
Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Same PEC pre-train as Mach1 now/when in 900/1200?
Hi,
Some time back Roland mentioned that the Mach1 PEC is pre loaded with
data from lab measurements. At the time there was talk about this also
being planned for the next 900/1200 mounts. Any update

Hi Roland,
Well, when you slew away from the sun / moon to a stellar target the
tracking can switch to siderial again. As a rule one could ask that

Tracking rate question
Hi AP,
On a latest version AP900 the tracking rate is not updated when goto
moon / sun is performed. I suggest this as an improvement to the
otherwise good functionality of the hand paddle.

Re: Capacity of AP900
It is my understanding that the AP mounts are rated for a photographic
load. That much weight at a long FL may be pushing the boundaries.
