You better drain
If you leave it out in the mist
You might be missed

My GTOCP4 (purchased in 2017) does not have drain holes in it, but a while back there was a really detailed post from Joe Zeglinski regarding the potential for dew flooding of the GTOCP4 case which also had a link to a YouTube video that Tony (a.k.a. Do you recommend adding these drain holes if we are in a heavy dew environment ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwU5ibObflw Best Regards Michael Hambrick ARLANXEO TSR Global Manufacturing Support PO Box 2000 Orange, TX 77631-2000 Phone: +1 (409) 882-2799 email: mike.hambrick@...

Hi Tony,
I noticed that the Dec reading during the APPM run is "0" when the CW is up and "7.0" when the CW is down...isI don't know what you mean by this. Re: Help With APPM and Dome Slewing/Camera Image Not In Sync
The message I was getting was "Maximum Plate Solve Time Exceeded". It was set to 10 sec, so I upped that to 45 sec and all looks good again...I think :)
I noticed that the Dec reading during the APPM run is "0" when the CW is up and "7.0" when the CW is down...is that normal?

If you use the provided 22.1mm spacer, the min length is the same. If you dont use it, the min length of the flattener adapter will be 2.6mm longer. (20.9mm vs 18.3mm).

Mark Precise parts will certainly make you a very good part but the Baader route is also available and likely cheaper, especially if you are not in the US (I don’t know where you are). Or you could machine an adapter if you have access to a lathe?

I'm currently using the AP Nose piece adapter for CCD field flatteners and telecompressor (part #ADATCC2) to attach my ZWOASI6200MM camera. The AP Nose Piece adapter makes is very difficult to adjust the telecompressors 1mm spacing allowance. The three compression screws on the adapter can easily create tilt issues plus sliding the camera/filter wheel in out with any accuracy is difficult to say the least. Does anyone know if there is an accurate threaded spacer option available to match the AP field flattener and quad telecompressor to the ZWOASI6200MM&FilterWheel? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1200GTO Pointing Issues

Don't use Autostart YES until you get it to first work with Resume from Present Position and Autostart NO. Once it works and points correctly you can switch to YES and it will start automatically from any position that you left the scope in, even if you left it pointing to China.

Remember also that your time, date and location must be correct in the keypad. If your first slew is off by 45 degrees it is most likely that one of these is wrong, probably the time, daylight savings etc.

I've done the update and can connect to mount. I have changed to Aotoconnect=Yes from the keypad. There a couple clear nights here in MI so hopefully I can get this ironed out. Thanks Peter & everyone for the help. Once I get the observatory straight it will be great to flip a switch and go. Carl
