Re: Keypad Upgrade for Using Mach2

Dominique,

The keypads are not supposed to be sent with Mach2 mounts yet. However, Terri noted that she received hers. According to our records, you mount has not shipped yet. Before it ships, our office will be in touch with your dealer to find out if you require the keypad to operate the mount or if you can operate it with the V2 driver and APCC while the keypad program is being completed.

Hi Rolando,
This means that if my mach2 has already been sent to my dealer, it is without the keypad?

Forgot to ask....

Is the power cable connected to the Pyramid with the correct polarity?

Is the Pyramid's current-limiting control set high enough to supply the current the mount needs?

What voltage is the Pyramid putting out? Measure it. Is the breaker tripped?

Unplug the power cable, from the box and blow on it, and plug it back in. 🙂

As always, the PDF is included when installed (installer asks you if you want to view it), or you can press F1 in APCC or open it from the help menu in APCC.

Also, online here: https://siriusimaging.com/Help/APCC/

For some strange reason when I try to connect to MGBOXv2 / GPS using APCC Pro 1.8.0.5 a dialogue pops up saying "Closing GPS Connection MGBoxV2: Cannot create ActiveX component." I have MGBOXV2 setup on Com 3 using the ASCOM chooser. I can connect to the environmental settings and a test shows the data comes in.

Thanks for your thoughts on this.
Claude

I have the MGBoxV2 GPS as well and using APCC Pro 1.8.0.5.

It all works properly for me.

When you say you have it on "COM 3" - shouldn't it be set to "MGBoxV2" under COM Port id APCC??

That usually means the MGBox ObservingConditions ASCOM driver is not installed, or not properly installed.
