I use Pinpoint with MaximDL6.11 and The Sky6. I have had this software suite for many years and I know it is old but it is solid stable and just works.

The factory curve is a perfect fit when the mount comes from the factory. After a number of years, the gears will polish up a bit more and the curve should be re-done.

Roland, Marcelo brings up a good point. My impression was there was some benefit to building a model even when guiding or without encoders, is this not true? I will likely add encoders at some

APPM and all its functions can be used with the 1100 non-encoder mount. All you need to do is make a good PE curve using PEMPro and you should be set for some decent unguided imaging. PEMPro came with

i have excellent results with Pinpoint. we do unguided imaging at 0.63" so APPM is vital for what we do
yes it costs a bit and it's not free like ASTAP, but given your requirements i think that

Re: Broken URL for Mac FTDI Driver
Thank you Liam. I realize its for the Mac, maybe I mispoke, I just wanted to ensure it would work with CP4. The AP website only listed the older version in the link so I wasnt sure.
Thank you,

Here is a photo of the resulting produce when the negative east values are subtracted from the west limits. Again, my initial east/west limit map isn’t symmetric.

Ray,
I’ve got a follow on question to this topic. I created a detailed meridian tracking limit for my setup (Mach2/Tak 130NFB). The limits ended up not being symmetric for east and west, with

Re: Broken URL for Mac FTDI Driver
Howdy,
The FTDI driver is for your computer, and not for the CP4 or CP5. With it, your computer will be able to communicate with anything that has an FTDI chip, not just the CP4 and CP5.

I did that and assume its at this page but I would prefer not to guess. https://ftdichip.com/drivers/vcp-drivers/
It looks like the same URL on the astro-physics page and the VCP driver page under
