Re: 1100 GTO just ordered

Re the INDI A-P driver:

FWIW, I created the latest version of the A-P INDI driver (copied and modified previous versions).  I have no idea what ZWO/ASIAIR uses for their drivers nor have any ties to ZWO. INDI is an open-source project with a GPL license.  I have been using that INDI v2 version for a half a year successfully with KStars/EKOS and my AP1100/CP3 and it has been tested with a CP4 as well. I use it unsupervised most times (i.e. I start up Ekos at night, go to sleep, wait for morning, collect my pictures). There are only a handful of testers I'm aware of, but I'm unaware of issues that need fixing.

I just modified the Issues part of the doc page https://indilib.org/telescopes/astrophysics/astrophysics-v2.html to now read as follows:

The lx200ap_v2 driver has been tested successfully by several folks, but not the number typical of a standard product. Please be aware and be observant of the mount when doing slews and parking the first several times you use the driver.

If you do use it, please let me know if there are any issues.

I guess I should have given a little more info. presently I am using a Celestron CGX mount. with StarSence auto align and NINA.
mounted on a simi perminant pier.  I ordered a pier adapter (119FSA)  and have received it. I plan on using pole master to do my polar alignment, I ordered a adapter for the polmaster camera and have it.
I also ordered counter weights 18# and 10#, 10" Saddle Plate (ASP-DOVEDV10). I presently run everthing from a Windows 11 Dell laptop connected through a ICRON Ranger USB3 eathernet hub to the mount. running NINA.
Scope is a Stellarvue SVX130T. guide camera is a QHYCCD 5-11, on a Stellarvue guide scope. plan on using PHD2 for guide sooftware.
